What’s up with New York Mets players and mysteriously hurting their hands or arms? This is really wired. Shortstop Francisco Lindor had to miss a game after he slammed his right middle finger in a hotel door. Despite fracturing on his right hand, he was back in the lineup the next day.

Lindor stated during a press conference “After I finished my message, I went to my room and I have double doors, and I went to close one, I didn’t think the other one was gonna close and they closed at the same time, and next thing you know, I have a swollen finger.” “I ran around the room for like three minuets, I didn’t want to look at it. I felt like I had my heart in the one finger.”

Because he’s back in the lineup I assume he’s ok. And I’m glad to hear that.

Now things get weirder, it was reported today that Mets pitcher Max Scherzer got bit on his throwing hand by his dog. When this was reported, Max Scherzer tweeted this:

These are some really weird injuries. But this is the most Mets thing to ever happen. they are finally having a good season and these goofy injuries happen. The good news is that these don’t seem like very serious injuries, and it won’t effect these guys that much.
