The New York Giants have released cornerback James Bradberry which clears about $10 million in Space for the team. Bradberry, 28, was drafted by the Carolina Panthers and the second round of the 2016 NFL draft.

After playing out his rookie contract from 2016 to 2020, Bradberry signed a three-year, $45 million contract with the New York Giants. During the off-season James Bradberry restructured his contract to help give the team more space to make a splash in free agency, but this clearly wasn’t enough as a team informed him of his release today.

Despite being the center of numerous trade talks, it doesn’t seem that the team was able to find a suitable trade partner or a trade that they liked, for James Bradberry.
