The NCAA officially makes there statement about COVID-19, stating that both the mens and women’s tournaments will be open with no fans. Here is the official statement:

No fans is definitely better than cancelling. If they still broadcast these games (which they will) then it is a win for everyone precautions need to be taken so this was the right decision in my opinion.

The only people that are allowed in attendance is “essential staff and limited family attendance.” This is obviously not an ideal situation but the tournament will still be watchable, precautions definitely need to be taken. One of the best parts of March Madness is crazy crowds, when wild games are happening. We will see how this all plays out. Definitely should be interesting but glad it is not canceled all together.
