The Miz Wins Money in the Bank at Hell in a Cell

Following Law and Otis on SmackDown, Otis was ordered to put the Money in the Bank contract up for grabs against the Miz at Money in the Bank. The Miz, who cashed in the contract on November 22nd 2010 against Randy Orton to become WWE Champion for the first time, defeated Otis after Tucker turned on his partner.

It’ll be interesting to see how Tucker Knight’s heel turn goes, especially since he and Otis are now on separate brands. The briefcase is now on Raw, though, and the focus shifts to Drew McIntyre’s WWE Championship.

Drew is in tonight’s main event, defending against Randy Orton. If Orton were to win, Survivor Series is the 10th anniversary of the Miz’s original cash-in.

The Miz has been one of the WWE’s most consistent talents since he lost the WWE Championship in 2011, yet has never reached the mountaintop again. Could this be the Miz’s opportunity?
