The Michael Vick They Don’t Want You To See

This petition that’s going around about not allowing Michael Vick to be a Legendary captain at this years Pro Bowl is ridiculous.

After his release from prison Mike Vick met with the Pennsylvania Legislature lobbying for HB 1516 to help protect pets left in hot cars. He met with the full Senate, full House, Speaker of the House and Lt. Governor.

Since his release he has become an animal advocate, he works with the Humane Society to prevent abuse of animals in the same types of neighborhoods that he grew up in. He prevents the youth that from going down the same path he went down. It has largely been successful.

He has worked to get the Animal Fighting Spectator Prohibition Act passed in Congress.

I truly believe that people can change and Michael Vick has. He’s a better human now.

He paid his debt to society as he spent 18 months in prison and hasn’t had anything else pop up about him in the last 12 years.
