Today’s game(Sunday)was a HUGE game for the Guardians, because it was a must-win game. The Guardians pulled it together and secured a nice team-win, to beat the Oakland A’s!

Jose Ramirez, the front-runner for the A.L. M.V.P., had a 3-R.B.I. game, with also scoring one run. He continues to be the spark for the Guardians and he’s the perfect leader that this team needs, as they look to make a big post-season run. Ramirez has proven he’s going to be the guy to take this team as far they want to go.
Myles Straw came through big today, too. Straw went 2-4 and scored 2 runs. Rosario went 3-4 with 2 runs scored and an R.B.I.. Owen Miller and Austin Hedges both drove in crucial runs for the Guardians, to help them outlast the Oakland A’s. Overall, it was a total team effort today and that’s exactly what this young Guardians team needs, if they are going to look to make a run for the playoffs.

Next up for the Guardians is a series with the Rockies. This will be another must-win series and it’s in Colorado. After the Rockies it’s the Dodgers and Twins, for the Guardians. All three of these series are away, then they come home for the Red Sox, so the Guardians have a tough road schedule coming up. This road schedule will really show this team what they are made of. The Guardians look to come home on top of the A.L. Central.
