The Exalted One Reveal, The Inner Circle Battle The Elite and a Pair of Tag-Matches – AEW Dynamite Preview | #AEW #AEWDynamite

Written by Colby Faria

Tonight is usually the Wednesday Night War between AEW and NXT. However, NXT is in a bit of a state of limbo due to the Coronavirus outbreak and the WWE doesn’t yet know if they’ll hold NXT TakeOver, as planned, a couple of nights before WrestleMania 36, which they just moved from Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Bay, Florida, to the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida due to the aforementioned virus. With no word on if their PPV will still take place, NXT is taking a bit of a night off until the company decides what to do with their upcoming PPV event, announcing earlier in the week that they’ll just have some clips of old matches and interviews. So, with that, we’ll only be previewing & reviewing AEW Dynamite, this evening. AEW are also feeling the effects of the Coronavirus pandemic. They’ll indefinitely be holding their Dynamite and Dark tapings behind closed doors with no fans & only essential personnel on hand at the Daily’s Place Arena in Jacksonville, Florida.

Let’s get into what AEW has in-store for us, this evening.

  • The Exalted One Will Be Revealed

Preview – After months of buildup, Dark Order’s leader, The Exalted One, will be revealed to the world. Many speculate it’ll be WWE Legend, Matt Hardy or former-WWE Tag-Team Champion, Brodie Lee (FKA, Luke Harper). Will it be one of the former WWE superstars? Will it be a surprise? Or will we not actually get the reveal until fans are allowed back in the arena (as I suspect)? We’ll find out, tonight!

  • The Inner Circle Battle The Elite for a “Blood & Guts” Advantage

Preview – Next week, AEW will still go forward with their “Blood & Guts” match between The Inner Circle (Chris Jericho, Jake Hager, Sammy Guevara, Santana & Ortiz) and The Elite (Cody, Kenny Omega, Adam Page, Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson), even though no fans will be in attendance. So, tonight, the 2 teams will battle it out for an advantage in the match, next week. No word on what that advantage is, however and will a mystery partner take the place of Nick Jackson who was brutally attacked by The Inner Circle, last week or will he somehow be ready for action?

  • Tag-Team Match – Lucha Bros (with PAC) vs Best Friends (with Orange Cassidy)

Preview – After weeks and weeks of back and forth attacks, the Best Friends, Chuck T & Trent will attempt to get the upper-hand on Death Triangle’s Rey Fenix & Pentagon Jr. Will one of the team’s put a finality on this bitter rivalry or will PAC & Orange Cassidy get involved & make this feud even more personal?

  • Tag-Team Match – The Butcher & The Blade (with The Bunny) vs Jurassic Express (with Marko Stunt)

Preview – Another tag-team rivalry will hope to find a conclusion, tonight. After the tag-team battle royal match, these 2 teams have had problems with each other. Will The Butcher & The Blade or Jurassic Express’ Luchasaurus & Jungle Boy, get the final say, tonight?
