The Eagles Offensive Line Are The New Broad Street Bullies

Written by Tony Ghaul

The Philadelphia Eagles offensive line is best in the NFL. They are big, strong and athletic. This unit has beaten teams into submission all season.

There will be a lot of talent on display this Sunday, but the best unit in Super Bowl 57 is the Philadelphia Eagles offensive line. Not only does the Eagles line not have a weak link to be attacked, but all five members of the group are impact players.

The NFC championship game was a highlight reel of crushing blocks on the San Francisco 49ers defensive unit, and they opened up some major rushing lanes for the Eagles to exploit the league’s to run defense.

In the last five weeks, the Eagles have played three great defensive fronts in the Cowboys, Giants, and 49ers. In those three games, pass-rushers Micah Parsons, DeMarcus Lawrence, Dexter Lawrence, Leonard Williams, Kayvon Thibodeaux and Nick Bosa, totaled zero sacks. In those 12 quarters, the combined front sevens of those three teams have one sack for zero yards.

All-Pro center Jason Kelce anchors the offensive line. Kelce is the heart and soul of the team and the city. He’s joined by Pro Bowl right tackle Lane Johnson, left tackle Jordan Mailata, right guard Isaac Seumalo and left guard Landon Dickerson. They are coached by the best o-line in the league, Jeff Stoutland.

The Eagles dominant offensive line will be on display on Sunday. This unit never disappoints. It is the strength of the team.
