The Buffalo Bills have hung a Lombardi Trophy banner at their training facility despite never winning one. They are one of 12 NFL teams that hasn’t won a Super Bowl championship. The photo has gone viral on the social media.
The Bills lost four straight Super Bowl championships in the ’90s. They have three consecutive AFC East division titles under Head Coach Sean McDermott and QB Josh Allen, but have only advanced past the Divisional Round once.
Last year, the Bills were viewed by most NFL experts as the favorites to win the Super Bowl. They were defeated by the Cincinnati Bengals 27-10 in the Divisional Round.
Truthfully, I can’t believe that they would hang the banner up. This is a team that has been disappointing their fans for years, and now they are the butt of many jokes on social media for putting the banner up.
