The Cleveland Browns and tight end David and Joku have agreed on a four year, $56 million contract extension.

Njoku, 25, played college football at the University of Miami. He was drafted by the Browns in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft. At only 25 years old, he’ll have the chance to test free agency again during his age 30 season. It’s safe to say that he’s had an ‘underwhelming’ career thus far, but to be fair, the Browns have not utilized him hardly at all and have also signed depth at the position for the last several seasons. He brings only 148 catches for 1,754 yards and 15 touchdowns into his new contract, but he’s widely used on the offensive line as a blocker.
