The BIG BALLER BRAND TO DETROIT? It look’s like it might happen.
I’ve been talking about LaMelo Ball ending up in Detroit since the kid scored about 400 points when he was like 10 years old. Okay, it wasn’t 400 points and he wasn’t 10 years old but close enough. The youngest Ball brother has been Ballin’ since the day he was born.
He scored 92 points in a Varsity game while he was only 15 years old.
Since then I’ve been wanting him to end up in Detroit. People started hating him and his family because his dad was constantly on ESPN and hyping his kids up.
But Melo is in great shape, he’s tall and lengthy, he’ll be a great scorer, passer, all people should be worrying about is his defense on the other end. If Ball is there when the Pistons pick, he’ll end up in Detroit!
There are reports coming out that the Pistons are interested in drafting Melo and also interested in bringing in Lonzo!
Lonzo hasn’t really found a home yet and rumors have it that he’s on his way out of New Orleans. Although that might not be true, Detroit still could bring in Lonzo as he’s been showing flashes of being a huge deciding factor for a team in the future.
But.. What about Gelo Ball?
Detroit has been open about giving tryouts to players and even giving one to rapper J.Cole after he announced he’d want a tryout. Does that mean that Detroit will give all 3 of the BALL BROTHERS an opportunity?
I could see it happen.
Right now LiAngelo Ball plays for the OKC Thunder G-League team. Is he ready for a jump over to Detroit too?
