Thank You Matthew Billboard Up In Detroit

After 11 seasons with the Detroit Lions, quarterback Matthew Stafford requested a trade and had it granted as he was acquired to the Los Angeles Rams for quarterback Jared Goff and high future draft picks.

However, that has not stopped the city and residents from thanking the Stafford family for their years and contributions.

One of them included on Instagram as the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan hung up a billboard for Matthew, Kelly and the Stafford giving them their thanks for their years with the Lions.

There is a belief that there will be more Detroit businesses and charities that will thank him within the next few weeks as he departs officially for Los Angeles.

At least the Staffords left behind a $1 million pledge to build a new education center in Detroit; and on here, we say thank you for the great memories (and comebacks) for the Lions and we hope you succeed in the near future.
