The Adrian Peterson era in Tennessee came to an end as quickly as it began.

On Tuesday, the Titans waived the future Hall of Fame running back.

Peterson finishes his tenure with 27 carries for 82 yards and a touchdown, which came in his debut against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday Night Football.

With the injuries that happen late in the season, there could be a team in need of Peterson, who still has something left to give to the league and a team in need of another running back.

Peterson was signed due to Derrick Henry landing on injured reserve with a foot injury.
