Corey Kluber is going to get another chance to pitch in the 2022 season.

The Tampa Bay Rays are signing the veteran pitcher to a one-year deal worth $8 million.

The 35-year old former Cy Young winner went 5-3 with the New York Yankees in 2021, but was held to 16 starts due to injuries.

Kluber did throw a no-hitter against his former team, the Texas Rangers, back on May 19 before landing on the injured list with a shoulder injury.

The Rays were the best team in the American League in 2021, but were eliminated by the Boston Red Sox in the American League Division Series.
