Tampa Bay Rays Outfielder Randy Arozarena’s Creative Home Run Celebration

Written by Tony Ghaul

Tampa Bay Rays outfielder Randy Arozarena went viral on Sunday for his creative home run celebration against the Detroit Tigers.

Arozarena hit a solo home run against Tigers starting pitcher Joey Wentz in the fourth inning to give Tampa Bay a 1-0 lead.

While rounding the bases, Arozarena abruptly stopped his trot and crossed his arms before touching third.

Arozarena was also spotted enjoying a stroopwafel cookie in the dugout following his homer.

It was the first home run of the season for Arozarena.

While playing for Mexico during the semifinal game of the World Baseball Classic against Japan, Arozarena made a spectacular catch and did the same pose.
