The Tampa Bay Buccaneers fired the offensive coordinator Byron Leftwich after four seasons, according to multiple reports.
Leftwich was the offensive coordinator when the Buccaneers win the Super Bowl a couple of years ago. Since winning the Lombardi Trophy, the offense has regressed.
The Buccaneers offense finished 15th in total offense, 25th in points and last in the NFL in rushing. They won the NFC South with an 8-9 record. They were the only team to enter this year’s playoffs below .500.
Leftwich will likely get interest from other clubs searching for an offensive coordinator. He’s also been a head coaching candidate in the past.
