The last week between Antonio Brown and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers has been wild. And it’s come to an end.
The Buccaneers are releasing Brown just days after Brown ripped his jersey off on the sidelines of MetLife Stadium and dashed off the field.
Followijg the Buccaneers comeback victory on Sunday against the Jets, Bucs head coach Bruce Arians had said that Brown was no longer a member of the team, although nothing official had been done until now.
What will be interesting to see is if another team claims Brown, especially with Week 18 a mere few days away and if someone will risk giving Brown a shot knowing what kind of disruption he is capable of.
Before this all went down, Brown was suspended for three games due to having a fake COVID-19 vaccination card. The Bucs still brought him back to the team due to needing him because of injuries to the roster.
Now, Tampa Bay is wiping their hands of Brown and continuing their chances of repeating as Super Bowl Champions.
