Karina from the K-pop group aespa and actor Lee Jae-wook have confirmed their relationship, according to statements from their respective management agencies on Tuesday.

Earlier today, Korean entertainment outlet Dispatch reported sightings of the pair together in both Seoul and Milan. They were both present at the Prada Fall-Winter collection show in Italy on Jan. 14.

Sources close to the couple revealed that it was a case of “love at first sight” for Karina and Lee.

Addressing the rumors, SM Entertainment, Karina’s agency, stated that the two are in the early stages of getting to know each other, confirming their relationship.

Lee’s agency, C-JeS Studio, appealed to fans for their support, particularly emphasizing Lee’s ongoing drama shoot and the need for privacy.

The news of the relationship between the prominent K-pop idol and the well-known actor garnered significant attention from fans. Lee’s agency website experienced heavy traffic, rendering it inaccessible as of Tuesday afternoon.

Karina, aged 23, debuted as a member of the girl group aespa in 2020, known for hits like “Next Level” (2021) and “Savage” (2021), as well as its unique virtual universe featuring the members’ digital counterparts.

Meanwhile, Lee, aged 25, entered the acting scene with the sci-fi thriller “Memories of the Alhambra” in 2018. He gained fame through the fantasy period drama “Alchemy of Souls” (2022), and his upcoming series, “The Impossible Heir,” is set to premiere on Disney+ later this month.
