Stipe Miocic vs Tai Tuivasa in the Works

A heavyweight slugfest between Tai Tuivasa and Stipe Miocic is reportedly being looked at for July 2nd. This will be Tuivasa’s toughest test by far, and a chance for him to prove himself as a legitimate heavyweight contender. And for Stipe, it proves a much-needed bounceback opportunity after his knockout loss to Ngannou in March 2021. This fight rocks.

Despite my overwhelming excitement for this fight, it does leave me with some questions in regards to the heavyweight division as a whole. First off, whatever happened to Jon vs Stipe? Have we just given up on the Jon Jones heavyweight experiment entirely? And Francis, is he gonna come back. If not, is this just… a title fight? If Tai wins he’s the champ? Imagine those shoeys.
