Steelers Lose Longtime Defensive Starter

Written by Tony Ghaul

Free agent safety Terrell Edmunds tweeted a farewell message to the Pittsburgh Steelers organization and fans.

Edmunds was selected with the 28th overall pick in the 2018 draft. In his five years with the Steelers, he’s made 75 starts and has made 410 tackles.

The 26-year-old Edmunds has been hunting a bigger deal the last two offseasons, and now appears to have found one. He re-signed with the Steelers last year on a one-year deal.

The Steelers will look to add a third safety to run with Minkah Fitzpatrick and Damontae Kazee.
