To celebrate May 4th, Disney has released Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker on their Disney Plus streaming platform.
As the ninth and final film in the ‘Skywalker’ saga, TROS made over $1 billion dollars in worldwide revenue by the 28th day of release. The film received mixed reviews from critics and audiences alike, however this was not enough to stop the massive surge of moviegoers into witnessing the finality of the saga.
The film sits with a critic score of 52% and an audience score of 86% on Rotten Tomatoes. So, just like The Last Jedi, The Rise of Skywalker seems to have divided viewers.
