A man from South Carolina was temporarily arrested by local authorities after he allegedly walked in front of the home of world-renowned singer Rihanna earlier today. He was reportedly asking for the ‘Diamond’ singer and blatantly said that he wanted to ask her hand for marriage.
He was met by the singer’s security and they immediately called 911. Local authorities arrived at the scene, placed the man in handcuffs, and brought him to the local police station.
The mystery South Carolina man confirmed to police that he was indeed asking for the singer’s hand in marriage but provided no additional details about his intentions. After questioning, they let the man walk without any charge, for now.
The man was wearing a Nike hoodie and though he hasn’t broken any laws, police told him to leave and not to return.
Back in 2018, a man named Eduardo Leon was arrested when he broke inside Rihanna’s home and stayed inside for almost a day. The singer was out of town when her security found the deranged man. When the man was caught, he was also brought to the police where he blatantly claimed that he wanted to have sex with the singer.
Rihanna is currently expecting her second child with A$AP Rocky. Kudos to her security team for their swift action and for protecting the singer’s young family from a plausible intruder.
