Son Of Evel Knievel Passes At 60

The son of legendary daredevil Eveil Knievel has died.

Robbie Knievel, a stuntman and daredevil in his own right, passed away at the of 60 on Friday morning after a pancreatic cancer battle, TMZ reports. He was in hospice care for his final days.

Knievel followed in his father’s footsteps and first performed at Madison Square Garden at the age of 8. He did over 350 jumps in his career and set multiple world records. One of his most notorious stunts was jumping the fountains at Caesars Palace in 1989, which was a feat his father had failed.

His final stunt was in 2011, when he jumped 150 feet above tractor-trailer trucks at the Spotlight 29 Casino in Coachella, CA.
