With the 2022 NFL season quickly approaching, the Indianapolis Colt have yet to sign their free agent WR, T.Y. Hilton. Will they sign him by the start of the season? Let’s talk about why they should.

The biggest free agent for the Indianapolis Colts is T.Y. Hilton. Hilton has played for the Colts since the 2012 NFL season. He was drafted in the third round in 2012, just after Manning was traded to Denver. Hilton never got to play with Manning, but I’m sure it would have been electric if he did! Since 2012, Hilton has put up solid numbers. He’s caught 631 receptions, 9,691 receiving yards, and 53 TD’s. He’s also known for playing his best games against the Houston Texans.

The Colts have a new QB1 in Matt Ryan. The Colts acquired Matt Ryan from the Atlanta Falcons, this past off-season. With the addition of Ryan, would it be beneficial for the Colts to sign Hilton? Ever since Andrew Luck retired, and various injuries, Hilton’s game has hit a downward slope, unfortunately. It’s not that he doesn’t have his usual skills anymore, but maybe it’s that he just hasn’t had the right QB. Hilton thrived with Luck as his QB. However, Matt Ryan is an All-Pro, MVP QB, so maybe that would be the spark that Hilton needs to get back to his usual “Ghost” self. We as Colts fans, love The Ghost and wish that the Colts would sign him, so he can experience what this new team has to offer. This off-season, the Colts have brought in some pretty big names, both on Offense and Defense. Do you think the Colts should sign Hilton, for one more ride? Only time will tell for The Ghost!
