A sexual assault lawsuit against Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones that was dismissed in 2020 has been revived by an appeals court in Texas.

According to Dallas Morning News, the case will now resume and will possibly go to trial.

The claim stems from a 2018 incident where he allegedly kissed a woman on her mouth and forcibly grabbed her without her consent.

The lady in question says the incident went down while in the Tom Landry room at AT&T Stadium. The case was originally dismissed because the woman would not identify herself in pleadings.

At the time, Jones denied the accusations and said they were ‘malicious and hurtful’. As yet, there is no response from him to the case being revived.
