Last night was not a hot start for Scals Selection. I had the Suns covering -5 in a high scoring game. The refs had other things in mind, and we got a Suns win but no cover.
Tonight we have game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals, between the Bucks and Hawks. Not sure too many people saw this coming. Both teams coming off big road wins in game 7. The Bucks beating the seemingly invincible Nets, and the Hawks taking down the overrated 76ers.
The line tonight is Bucks -7 1/2. This line is tricky. But I’m going with the Bucks. I think Giannis is a big matchup problem for Atlanta, and the defense from Milwaukee should be able to slow down the Hawks shooters.
I think the under could also be a play here are 225 1/2. The Bucks should be able to slow the pace down and prevent a track meet. A player prop I like here is Trae Young under 28 1/2 points. I think the defensive pressure by Jrue Holiday will be enough to slow the explosive guard down.
