Saquon Barkley leaves game for Giants with ankle injury vs Cowboys (Video).

The fan base for the New York Giants is currently bracing themselves again with the health of Saquon Barkley.

In the first quarter, Barkley was running and stepped on the foot of Cowboys defender Jordan Lewis, which caused him to stumble and go to the ground in pain.

The ankle apparently blew up immediately and it did not look good at first sight for Barkley, who left the game afterwards.

Barkley was declared out for the rest of the game, as he was carted off the field and taken to the back with the injury, which will be further evaluated.

Barkley, who had two touchdowns last week in the Giants first win of the 2021 season vs the New Orleans Saints, left with two carries for nine yards.

The Giants just got Barkley back this season after he tore his ACL back in Week 2 of last season against the Chicago Bears nd missed the final 14 weeks after needing season-ending surgery.
