A San Francisco 49ers player has been arrested for suspected misdemeanor domestic violence, San Jose Police Department said.
49ers DE Charles Omenihu was arrested after officers responded to investigate a domestic violence incident on Monday at approximately 4:39 p.m.
Omenihu was booked at the Santa Clara County Jail on Monday. He was released after posting bail, according to The Mercury News.
The woman, who cops said had a “complaint of pain to her arm,” received a restraining order against Omenihu.
Omenihu played college football for the University of Texas and has been with the 49ers since November 2021.
