Samuel L. Jackson to Have Voice Featured on Amazon Alexa

Written by Nate

Ever thought of what would it be like if a big-time actor like Samuel L. Jackson could be the voice for Amazon Alexa? It may come true now.

The USA Today has confirmed that Jackson will be the first celebrity to be a voice on of  Amazon Alexa coming later this year.

He may even slip out a few curses during your requests, if you want.

The product made its first revolutionary change during a Super Bowl commercial in February with the likes of Jackson, Cardi B, Rebel Wilson, Gordon Ramsey, and Anthony Hopkins displaying the voice.

There will be two versions of the Jackson Alexa that people can choose.

The explicit and clean versions will be sold separately. The cost of those ‘skills’ at 99 cents as an introductory offer. After that period, it will be set at a price of $4.99.

The actor on Alexa will tell jokes, sing happy birthday, announce the weather, set timers and alarms, play music and more. However, Jackson won’t tell tips or provide “help with shopping, lists, reminders or skills.”

Once you get the feature when it launches, Amazon says to get started you’ll need to say, “Alexa, introduce me to Samuel L. Jackson.”

Then the customer will have a choice between using the clean or explicit versions, according to Amazon.

It is undetermined what day it will come out, but we can estimate that it will be out sometime soon.
