Saints RB Alvin Kamara Talks About Las Vegas Beating In Surveillance Video

Written by Tony Ghaul

A recording from the SUV carrying New Orleans Saints star RB Alvin Kamara has him saying “I connected with the [expletive]’s jaw so hard” after his altercation at a nightclub in Las Vegas, as per David Charns.

In the video released on Wednesday, it appears to show Alvin Kamara and other suspects discussing a beating incident from last February that led to an indictment last week.

A witness told the grand jury Alvin Kamara was seated behind the limo driver, wearing the gray-hooded sweatshirt. (KLAS)

The video was obtained by CBS Las Vegas, which Las Vegas Metro Police said shows a limo transporting Kamara and several other men and women.

Darrin Christopher Young, another suspect in the case, was identified by the limo driver as sitting in the car also.

“Alvin, you tripping, bro,” Young said in the video. “You can’t be doing that. The wrong [expletive] gets you, there will be a lawsuit.”

Kamara faces charges of conspiracy to commit battery and battery resulting in substantial bodily harm. Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Chris Lammons, Kamara’s manager Percy Harris and Christopher Young face the same criminal charges in relation to the incident on Feb. 5, 2022.

The victim, Darnell Greene, filed a civil lawsuit in Louisiana, alleging he suffered an orbital fracture and other injuries, which caused him to have shoulder surgery. Greene is seeking $10 million in damages.
