Sacramento Kings acquire Domantas Sabonis from the Indiana Pacers in NBA blockbuster trade

NBA All Star Domantas Sabonis was likely going to be dealt before the trade deadline on Thursday and the Indiana Pacers found a taker.

Sabonis headlines the package sent to the Sacramento Kings in an absolute blockbuster deal.

Sabonis, Lamb, Holliday and a 2027 second round pick go to the Kings.

Tyrese Hailburton, Buddy Hield and Tristan Thompson are headed to the Pacers.

The Kings had long coveted Sabonis and didn’t have to include De’Aaron Fox in a trade; Fox has been rumored in possible trade talks, one of which includes the New York Knicks for Julius Randle.

For the Pacers, a possible rebuild featuring Myles Turner can happen with a backcourt of Hailburton and Hield.
