Two of the top NFL running backs from the last decade could be heading into the ring for a boxing match very soon via a post by TMZ Sports.

In the tweet by Ari Meirov aka @MySportsUpdate, Le’Veon Bell and future Hall-of-Famer Adrian Peterson is reportedly in talks of boxing gig together as part of YouTuber Austin McBroom’s ‘Social Gloves’ event over at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. The match has not been confirmed as of yet.

Both running backs last played in 2021 season, each played for two different teams. Bell, who was involved in the majority of his career with the Pittsburgh Steelers, last played for the Baltimore Ravens and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, while former NFL MVP Adrian Peterson was last seen on the roster for the Tennessee Titans and Seattle Seahawks.

McBroom’s event card is already loaded with the matches that feature former NBA player Nick ‘Swaggy P’ Young facing off against rapper Blueface and McBroom himself going against fellow YouTuber Ali Loui Al-Fakri, or ‘AnEsonGib.’

This could be an interesting fight since they are the two running backs who’s had great, but polarizing careers at the same timeline.

If the match is given the green light, this should be a must-watch for both boxing and NFL fans alike.
