Ronda Rousey will face Charlotte Flair in the main event of Night 1 at Wrestlemania 38

Written by Doug Rush

Wrestlemania 38 is a little less than six weeks away from AT&T Stadium in Dallas, Texas.

The event, for the third year in a row, will be two nights. In Night 1 of the event, which will be Saturday, April 2, the main event will feature former UFC Champion Ronda Rousey, as she will take on Smackdown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair.

Rousey returned to the WWE after almost two years away to start a family. She was a surprise entrant into the 2022 Royal Rumble and won, last eliminating Charlotte.

When Rousey was last in the WWE, she was in the main event of Wrestlemania 35 as the Raw Women’s Champion with Charlotte and Becky Lynch; they were the first ever women’s match to main event a Wrestlemania.

Last year, Bianca Belair and Sasha Banks were the main event of Night 1 at Wrestlemania 37 for the Smackdown Women’s Championship.
