Ring of Combat 75: date and time, where to watch, and preview | @ringofcombat @fitetv

Written by Noah Gagnon

Lou Neglia’s Ring of Combat is making its return to Atlantic City this Friday, February 18th, and this card is absolutely stacked. It features two title fights and some of the best fighters on the regional circuit today. It’s a can’t-miss event, and here’s everything you need to know about the card.

What is Ring of Combat?

Ring of Combat is the east coast’s premier mixed martial arts promotion. Founded by three-time world kickboxing champion Lou Neglia in 2002, Ring of Combat paved the way for martial arts on the east coast, being the first promotion to put on sanctioned MMA fights in the Garden State. Lou and his team aren’t just bringing in anybody to fight though, they’re bringing in the most elite fighters on the east coast together to see who the sports most elite fighters are. This is why in over 50 events, 152 ROC fighters have earned a spot in the UFC with many more on the cusp. Furthermore, 6 of those fighters have gone on to become UFC champions including Matt Serra, Frankie Edgar, Chris Weidman, Eddie Alvarez, Aljamain Sterling, and Charles Oliveria. No other promotion in the world can say these things.

The point is, when you’re watching a Ring of Combat card, you’re watching the best of the best. You’re watching the future of mixed martial arts, and have a unique opportunity to familiarize yourself with fighters as they prepare to thrive on the sport’s biggest stages. Champions are made at Ring of Combat.

Ring of Combat 75 Preview

Ring of Combat is coming back with a bang, and you’re not gonna want to miss this event. You’ve got two title fights in the main, and co-main events featuring the promotion’s most dominant champions. In the Co-Main we’ve got Long Island made James Gonzalez putting his bantamweight title on the line against Ring of Combat veteran Phil Caracappa. Then, in the main event, ROC superstar Dennis Buzukja looks to defend his featherweight belt in his second straight main event. He’ll face off against Ohio’s Josh Rohler, in what promises to be a fantastic title fight. On top of the title fight, the card also features some great up-and-comers such as Francis Marshall and Tommy Lane, the debut of Jonathan Alvarez, and veterans like Michael Lawrence and Cristian Lopez. This is an absolutely stacked event!

So, if you like MMA, you need to have your eyes on this card. The future of the sport is putting it all on the line against each other, and they’re doing it at Lou Neglia’s Ring of Combat 75. I’ll be previewing the card extensively during the build-up, and I’ll even be in the building providing live updates on fight night. Make sure you watch this card!
