The Free Ridley chants have started in Atlanta. in 2021 RIDley tweet out durin a haftime in a 19-13 loss against the Panthers. He tweeted out ” i need to step away from football at this time to focus on my mental wellbeing. Ridley had intentions on returning for the 2022 season, but the NFL had something else in mind.
RIdley got susoened by the NFL in march of this year for betting o NFL games. Ridley wagered a total of $3,900 on bets on/or including the Falcons. Some put into question the NFLs decision. One thte first supporters of freeing Ridley from his suspension, was Atlanta Falcons running back Cordarelle Patterson. Where he tweeted out “Free my dawg”, “That’s my teammate, and I want him to play,” “I stand by all of my teammates. I just want him to be out here. I know he misses football. He loves it.”
This was after Deshaun Watson got a supposed suspension of 6 games. Deshaun Watson ended up getting an 11 game suspension for sexual assualt. Watson supposedly assualted 24 women during massages.RIdley is able for reinstatement February of 2023. Watson is playing in 2022. Which one of these to athletes should be playing in 2022, Watson or RIdley. In this writers opinion it should be RIdley with 11 game suspension, but let us know what you think.
