In a report by Sarah Blakely and WLUC TV6, authorities are currently investigating an incident in which a man was caught swimming at Kitch-it-kipi or the Palms Book State Park in Schoolcraft County.
The incident occurred Sunday afternoon when a witness captured photos of a man swimming in the springs’ waters, in which under the park’s rules, it is not allowed.
The incident was further reported to conservation officers, and according to the AuTrain Lake Lodge’s post on Facebook, the man was later fined $250 and removed from the park.
