Los Angeles Rams WR Cooper Kupp said, he’s “feeling really good” post ankle surgery.
Kupp returned to a full team practice for the first time this offseason and continues to rehab his ankle. He suffered a high ankle sprain during the Rams Week 10 loss to the Arizona Cardinals last season.
The injury required surgery, which caused Kupp to miss the remainder of the year. He finished the season with 75 receptions for 812 yards and six touchdowns in nine games.
Kupp was happy to be back with his teammates. He even cracked a joke at QB Matthew Stafford.
When Kupp was asked about rookie QB Stetson Bennett, Kupp gave a hilarious response.
“He’s definitely the most athletic quarterback from Georgia that we’ve got on our team,” Kupp said.
There were rumors that Stafford could possibly retire this past offseason as he was recovering from a spinal cord contusion.
Stafford has continued to recover from the injury and intends to start for a third consecutive season under Head Coach Sean McVay.
