After signing a five-year, $65 million deal last offseason, the Los Angeles Rams have parted ways with All-Pro linebacker Bobby Wagner, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Prior to joining the Rams, Wagner was a force in the linebacking corps for arch rival Seattle Seahawks for ten seasons. He even contributed and led the Legion of Boom to a Super Bowl title in the 2013 season.
While in LA, Wagner recorded 140 total tackles, six sacks and two interceptions. Those stats were enough to earn him All-Pro second team honors.
Along with a Super Bowl title, Wagner’s accolades include being listed as a six-time First Team All Pro, a two-time NFL tackles leader, and is part of the NFL 2010s All-Decade Team.
