Los Angeles QB Matthew Stafford is in concussion protocol and his status for Sunday’s game against the Arizona Cardinals is to be determined, Head Coach Sean McVay said Wednesday.

“Still anticipating and having the optimistic approach that he’ll be ready to go,” McVay said during a news conference.

John Wolford would probably would start against the Cardinals if Stafford cannot play. Stafford completed 13 of 27 passes for 165 yards and a touchdown in a 16-13 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last week. He was sacked four times.
