John Wolford came into today as a journeyman QB and was hoping for a life changing run in these playoffs to change his fortune. When scrambling in the first half of the game, he was hit head on by Jamal Adams which seemed to jar him quite a bit. Wolford was taken out of the game and replaced by emergency QB (and regular starter who is injured), Jared Goff.
It did not appear to be a dirty hit, and there was no penalty on the play, but you certainly did not expect to see Wolford being carried out in an ambulance with a neck brace as you see below. Fucking terrifying and prayers up for John Wolford. No one wants to see shit like this.
