The Las Vegas Raiders are the only winless team in the NFL. They dropped to 0-3 with the 24-22 loss against the Tennessee Titans. This followed their brutal Week 2 loss to the Arizona Cardinals, where they blew a 20-point lead at halftime.
Things are not shaping up in the way star WR Davante Adams would have hoped when he signed with the team over the offseason. Adams said that he is “Frustrated and angry,” as per SI.com. “Expect more. It’s not easy to win in this league. It’s not easy to win in this league. We know that. Nobody’s naïve to the fact that nobody’s just going to lay down and just give you a victory, but at the end of the day we expect more and we will do better as we move forward.”
This start is not what Adams expected, when left the Green Bay Packers and future Hall-of-Fame QB Aaron Rodgers to reunite with former college QB Derek Carr.
Adams is not the issue, as he is off to a good start with 17 catches for 189 yards and 3 touchdowns. He has a touchdown catch in every game this season.
The Raiders have lost all three of their games by a margin of six points or less, with Sunday’s game being the closest. They are the only 0-3 team in the league going into Week 4. The heat is on new Head Coach Josh McDaniels turn this thing around quickly.
