THE OAKLAND RAIDERS will remain playing at the
Coliseum for one more season. Obviously, a good move seeing the crowd in Oakland continued to be packed with fans. But.. It just adds on why they shouldn’t leave.
The #Raiders and the Coliseum Authority have reached an agreement for the team to remain in Oakland for the 2019 season at least and the sides are ironing out final nuances and details of the deal, sources say. It could be wrapped up and presented to the board as early as Friday.

“It’s for one year for sure, with an option for the second year,” said one source who could not speak on the record because of the sensitive nature of the negotiations.
Under the proposed deal, the Raiders would pay $7.5 million this year with the rent rising to $10.5 million if the team stays on through 2020. The option for an extra year is insurance in case the team’s new $1.8 billion stadium in Las Vegas isn’t ready.
They have this awesome fan base, don’t let it go.
Too late now…
