The Las Vegas Raiders have ruled QB Jimmy Garoppolo OUT for Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Chargers, due to the concussion he suffered vs. the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Garoppolo practiced on a limited basis Thursday and Friday but was unable to gain clearance from the league’s concussion protocol. He is not traveling with the team to Los Angeles.
The Raiders have not announced who will start at QB. They have veteran Brian Hoyer and rookie Aidan O’Connell on the roster.
