Purdue Pulls Off Upset Against #2 Iowa In Iowa City

One of the top teams in the country just went down for the second straight week. Last week Alabama got upset against Texas A&M and this week Iowa loses to Purdue.

Iowa, who has been getting a lot of praise this year for the product they have put on the field and with them having one of the best-homefiled advantages in all of sports got outplayed by the Boilermakers.

The Boilermakers never trailed at any point in the game and had Iowa’s QB Spencer Petras all types of confused as he had 4 INT’s in the game.

Iowa’s bread and butter is their defense and their defense got absolutely torched today, letting QB Aidan O’Connell throw for 375 yards with a 75% completion rate.

Iowa came off an emotional hard-fought win last week against Penn State so that could’ve played a role in this loss but shocking nonetheless. This is a big blow to the Hawkeyes and the rankings are going to get very interesting this week due to this loss.

Where do you see the Hawkeyes sliding to in the College Football Playoff rankings? Let us know!
