PLEASE SHARE: 4-Year-Old Nonverbal, Autistic Girl Missing in Upper Peninsula (Engadine)

In a Facebook group post by Michelle Meeker, a 4-year-old nonverbal, autistic girl has been reported missing in the Upper Peninsula.

In the picture, Madison Yale, of Engadine (located in Mackinac County) was last seen Tuesday morning in her front yard near Krause and Warner Roads. Police are assuming she have wandered into the woods.

Standing at 3’ 6” tall, Madison has blonde hair, blue eyes, and was last seen wearing a pink shirt, blue dress, and had no shoes on.

As mentioned by Michelle in the post, she will not respond to her name. However, she will respond to words such as ‘ice cream,’ ‘cookies,’ or ‘swimming.’

If anyone sees Madison over in the Mackinac County area, they are asked to contact the Mackinac/Chippewa Central Dispatch at (906) 495-3312 or dial 911.


4-year-old Madison Yale has been found safe and is ‘currently eating with cookies with rescuers’ via Mackinac Sheriff on Facebook.
