Philadelphia Phillies offense lashed out 17 hits in last night’s 8-4 victory over the Tampa Bay Rays. It was their second straight victory over the Rays.

Trea Turner and Nick Castellanos hit home runs for the Phillies. Bryson Stott had 4 hits, J.T. Realmuto and Alec Bohm each had 3 hits.

Brandon Marsh drove in 2 runs and Bryce Harper had a 2 for 5 night, as the Phillies offense assaulted the Rays pitching.

Phillies starter Taijuan Walker gave up 4 runs in 7 innings, while striking out 8 batters to pick up his 10th win of the season. It was Walker’s sixth straight victory.

The Phillies have won 11 straight road games and are looking for the sweep of the Rays tonight.

The Phillies will send left-hander Cristopher Sanchez to the mound to face the Rays right-hander Shawn Armstrong.
