The Philadelphia Phillies took down the Toronto Blue Jays in their spring training opener 14-13.

The Phillies offense was led by Weston Wilson, Scott Kingery, and Matt Kroon, who all belted home runs.

Wilson went 2-for-3 with four RBIs. Johan Rojas had 2 hits and 3 RBIs. Newly signed utility player, Whit Merrifield, got the start at second base and hit lead off. He went 1-for3 for the game.

Newly acquired left-hander Kolby Allard got the start on the mound. He went 2 innings, allowing 2 earned runs, 2 hits and struck out three batters.

Kingery, catcher Aramis Garcia, infielder , and center fielder , delivered multi-hit performances.

The Phillies will play their first spring training home game on Sunday against the New York Yankees at 1:05 p.m. The game will be broadcast on NBC Sports Philadelphia.
