The Philadelphia Phillies are interested in three-time All-star starting pitcher Sonny Gray, as per Jon Morosi.

They are expected to be a top suitor for Gray, especially since they will likely lose Aaron Nola. The amount of money and years will be the main reason they won’t re-sign Nola.

Gray is coming off a good season with the Minnesota Twins last year. He had a record of 8-8 with 183 strikeouts in 184 innings pitched. Gray had a 2.79 ERA in 32 starts.

The 34 year-old Gray is an 11-year veteran and has played for the Oakland A’s, New York Yankees, Cincinnati Reds and the Twins.

Gray has 98 career wins with 1,521 strikeouts and a 3.47 ERA.
