The Philadelphia Eagles have placed LB Nakobe Dean on Injured Reserve and signed LB Nicholas Morrow to the active roster. They have also signed LB Rashaan Evans to the practice squad, as per announcement from team.
Dean will miss at least four games with a foot injury. He suffered the injury in the third quarter of the Eagles 25-20 season opening win over the New England Patriots.
Dean was a third-round draft pick of the Eagles last year. He made his first ever NFL start this past Sunday. Dean spent last year as a backup and played on special teams.
Morrow was signed as a free agent by the Eagles on March 21. He released on August 29 and then signed to the practice squad. He for the Chicago Bears last season and had 116 tackles and an interception.
Evans was signed to the practice squad and could be elevated to the active roster if needed.
