People Are PISSED The Way Dave Portnoy and Josh Richards Treated 19 Year Old Cooper Noriega Days Before His Death On BFFs Podcast

Recently we learned about the sad death of 19 year old social media influencer Cooper Noriega.

According to Deadline.com:

Cooper Noriega, a popular TikTok creator who had more than 1.7 million followers on that app, died on Thursday, in Burbank, Calif. He was 19 and his demise drew an outpouring of grief across social media.

The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner’s Office said Noriega was found dead on the 500 block of North First Street in Burbank, California. An exact cause of death is still under investigation.

Obviously very sad news to hear. Whenever someone passes away young and Cooper was a guest on the BFFs podcast recently where he opened up about his struggles.

But fans are NOT happy with the way he was treated by hosts Josh Richards and Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy. Which came just days before his death.

I’ve always been a fan of Dave Portnoy and Barstool Sports; I mean from before it was a huge media empire. I’ve been a ‘Stoolie’ and also have watched multiple episodes of BFFs throughout my time. But always found it a little strange, Portnoy is 45 years old and dealing with teenager issues. I like the idea of the podcast but maybe he should give his seat up?

I’m not hear saying that this had anything to do with it as Coopers death as he promoted the podcast afterwards. And they showed each other love but people aren’t happy with Portnoy and Richards. Although they shouldn’t beat themselves up over this – which might be hard.

But in reality people are on both sides:

I don’t think there is any side to take. We lost a 19 year old who has been battling addictions and demons his entire life.
